I grew up in a city in Germany and after graduating I wanted to see unknown places, meet interesting people and most importantly: find myself, as well as where I see myself in life.
My journey took me to a land that is far, far away from Europe.
In my year abroad I experienced the most beautiful seasons. And with every weather change, I changed.
I made my way from a tiny village to the top of a mountain, into a big city, through a desert and a forest. A ride from the west to the east coast.
To me, fair friend, you never can be old,
For as you were when first your eye I eyed,
Such seems your beauty still. Three winters cold
Have from the forests shook three summers’ pride,
Three beauteous springs to yellow autumn turn’d
In process of the seasons have I seen,
Three April perfumes in three hot Junes burn’d,
Since first I saw you fresh, which yet are green.
(Shakespeare, Sonnet 104)
I definitely live by the seasons and right now, we are in:
In the beautiful fall time I will be posting some cozy movie tips, warming decor, delicious food and tons of pictures.
